Both rabbit and turkey are lean meats which are naturally low in fat whilst being rich in quality protein. This makes them both great choices of protein for cats, and particularly recommended for cats who are overweight or suffer from weight related conditions.
Rabbit meat and offal is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, which promote a healthy coat and skin for your cat, as well as vitamin B3 and B12, potassium and selenium. Turkey is also packed with essential nutrients such as niacin, vitamin B6, selenium and phosphorous, which are crucial, for optimal nervous system and immune system health, as well as contributing to the health of the thyroid, bones, skin, teeth, coat and blood.
